Approach

Complex technology needs clear collaboration

As an engineering firm for heat exchangers, we specialize in heat transfer between liquids and gases using different principles.

ETS combines thermodynamic and strength calculations with design and project management. The agreed requirements of your specific project are decisive.

Through our extensive experience in various fields of thermodynamics, we are able to calculate and supply almost all types of heat exchangers for our customers.

Design and engineering are carried out to customer specifications, all from a single source.

With ETS AG, you receive personal, knowledgeable support on every project.

In close collaboration with our team, we implement demanding projects for a wide range of application areas.

From order planning and development, through manufacturing within the APL Group, to delivery, we offer our customers a reliable, high-quality end-to-end package.

Innovation

Thermodynamic and strength calculations for static and dynamic processes in specially developed sizing software, 3D design.

Reliability

On shell-and-tube units: pressure testing, dye penetrant testing (PT), and X-ray inspection of weld seams within the agreed scope of inspection.

Integrity

ETS confirms the heat exchanger type only after reviewing your data, and specifies any information still needed.

Collaboration

Sizing and project management are based in Tübach; questions about your process conditions go directly to our engineering team.

Location

Headquarters and technical project work in Tübach

At Wiesenstrasse 14, technical sizing, 3D design, project management, and customer support come together.

Our focus is on the European market, but we have also successfully exported overseas, to regions such as North, East, and South America.

The medium, inlet and outlet temperatures, pressure, duty or flow rate, as well as material and installation conditions, are reviewed. Only then does the project go into production.

APL Group

Swiss proximity, European network

ETS has been part of the APL Group since May 2016. The network connects the sites of Tübach, Hopfgarten, and Dormagen for heat exchanger and pressure vessel projects.

The APL Group operates as a European manufacturer of heat exchangers and pressure vessels on the international market. Manufacturing takes place in Hopfgarten (Austria) and Dormagen (Germany); Tübach (Switzerland) is the site for engineering, design, and sales.

ETS Energie Technik Systeme AG represents the APL Group network at its existing location in Tübach. Technical project work for Swiss customers remains anchored in Tübach.

This has expanded ETS AG’s product range. The Group’s plants open up new possibilities for us in manufacturing finned-tube and pharmaceutical heat exchangers, including finned heat exchangers and sterile shell-and-tube heat exchangers.

In addition, our membership in the APL Group enables extended approvals for ASME/U-Stamp as well as SELO (China).

Competencies

Approvals and codes

The approvals and codes that apply to your unit are determined during design and documented for each unit.

Our engineers carry out all thermal and strength calculations for static and dynamic processes in accordance with the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).

We hold various certifications such as SVTI, TÜV, and KHK, which demonstrate our quality commitment to our customers and ensure the highest quality standards.

ETS holds procedure qualifications and manufacturer approvals from various inspection bodies for the manufacture of equipment and pressure vessels subject to mandatory inspection. Such heat exchangers are in operation in EU countries, Japan, China, Russia, North and South America, and Australia.
